Updated: Skeletal System Lesson-Live
The new Skeletal System lesson is now live on my course site, www.mrfordsclass.net. The lesson contains almost 3 hours of lecture videos, interactive exam review, and a pdf copy of notes you can use in class or study from home.
As always the lesson can be purchased individually for only $5 or as part of the entire Human A&P course for the cost of a nice dinner for four, $50.
Here are some videos clips from this lesson:
Joints & Articulations: Free Resources
Joints and articulations are part of the skeletal system. I have found in more and more Human A&P 1 classes that they are typically talked about separately. This is a good thing! There is so much you have to learn in the skeletal system alone, that having Joints and Articulation discussed in a different section give you, the student, a breather as it where.
Quick (lame) A&P 1 Joke: What did one bone say to the other bone? What are you doing in a joint like this.
Skeletal System: Free Resources
The study of the skeletal system marks a milestone in your life as a student in the life sciences. It is in the skeletal system chapter when the memorization really starts. It is also in this chapter where the good portion of the course attrition (drops) occur. My humble suggestion to you the learners is to spend as much time as you possible can going over and over these bones. Get in your lab whenever possible, look at, and touch all the bones while you study.
